Accessibility Statement, Mad Comps
Last updated 2 October 2026.
Our commitment
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on every page of www.madcomps.com.
What we do
- Visible focus rings on every interactive control.
- Semantic HTML headings, lists and landmarks, with one main heading on every page.
- Alt text on meaningful images.
- Keyboard navigation for every interactive element. The competition entry window keeps keyboard focus inside it while it is open, and Escape closes it.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and buttons.
- Form fields use 16px text on touch screens, so phones do not zoom in when you type.
Known issues
- Some embedded third-party content may not yet meet AA.
- Some small labels, such as the ticket tier words on competition cards, use text smaller than 12px.
Third-party content
Embedded maps, videos and payment widgets may not meet AA. We are working with our suppliers and will update this statement as we make progress.
